This Whyte Laydie No. 2 is a vintage '20s Vega banjo with a clear, well projected sound. Converted from an original tenor neck, this 5-string neck is a common conversion on many vintage models as the tenor model was simply more popular at the time. Sporting the original pot with the coveted Whyte Laydie tone ring, this banjo sings with a musically mellow tone. The original wooden dowel stick was retained and includes all the original Fairbanks/Vega markings. 

The flamed maple neck feels smooth on this banjo fitting right in with the elegant vintage aesthetics. The fingerboard and headstock have beautiful inlay designs that cap off this banjo nicely. Comes with a hardshell case.
