The Walrus Audio - Ages Five-State Overdrive delivers five unique gain-states in one box with intuitive controls. Delivering both light-gain transparent tones all the way up to a saturated, chewy overdrive for loads of versatile options. The included dry blend knob allows you dial in a custom amount of dry signal into your overdriven sounds, which makes a great way to customize your tone for each individual amp/guitar combo. The bass control works both as a cut or a boost depending on the knob position allowing you some EQ control before the signal hits the overdrive section. A nice addition to the landscape of overdrive boxes from the crew at Walrus.

The five-position rotary knob offers the following gain states:

• I. Low-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Compressed and smooth.
• II. Low-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Pushed, open, and sparkly.
• III. High-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Increased saturation and tight.
• IV. High-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Saturated, punchy and big.
• V. High-gain mode with symmetric silicon hard clipping. Heavy compression, thick and chewy.

Think of each position as a different “flavor” of the pedal. Fine-tune each of these gain states with the dry knob for a near infinite supply of gain options.
