The Walrus Audio - Iron Horse Distortion is a boutique look at the classic distortion pedal. From leads to rhythm, this pedal can sing for any player looking for a distortion unit to handle the job. Three different clipping diodes are switchable using the three way toggle switch. Two of the three settings are warm and reminiscent of 90's-like wooly tones, while the last is open and sparkly. Dial back the distortion for an amp friendly, warm overdrive. Interesting enough, the "Distortion" knob does not increase volume as you pull it forward; the "Level" control however has a ton of decibel boost on tap. It is hard to find a setting at which this pedal doesn't sound good!
