The Walrus Audio - Red High Gain Distortion features the have-no-mercy tone found in many recordings of shoe gaze and classic metal bands in the 90's. This pedal is heavy, mean and highly versatile. The texture toggle provides two different clipping diode configurations. The "down" section selects the highest level of compression and clipping available for smooth singing leads and heavy rhythm work. The "up" position selects the lowest level of compression and clipping for more course tone that's overdriven in nature. Set yourself apart from the typical big muff sound with a 3-band eq to help you cut through.
