The higher-gain, aggressive sibling to the Sovtek-era Tall Font, the Fade Font is a recreation of one of the most famed '90s Muff sounds. With its unusual component values and drift over time, the recreation was a difficult process that resulted in Wren & Cuff's now well-regarded full sized Fade Font '94, complete with all of the originals grit and tight low-end that sounds as delicious on bass as it does guitar.

The XTS version of the Fade Font ’94 takes that same voice and packs it into a ridiculously small footprint. It gets remarkably close to the full-size version in tone and feel, though a few of the unique parts used in the Full Size Fade Font ’94 simply could not be carried over into a package this small. Still hosting a high quality, all-metal enclosure with a superbly close flavor, the XTS will not disappoint.
