Created using measured component values faithful to the original, the legendary low-gain grind and throaty 90s-era Muff that Wren & Cuff famously have made since the late 2000s has been shrunk down to a compact, high-quality enclosure while retaining all of the traits we love. Living somewhere between a fuzz and a lighter gain overdrive, it retains excellent definition, has a milder mid-scoop, and responds with a more controlled, articulate character. It sounds fantastic on guitar as well as bass, preserving low frequencies and detail without getting flabby. This new all-metal enclosure still hosts that fantastic quality we've come to expect from Wren & Cuff without any sacrifices to tone, a welcome direction for those with stacked boards.
